Why ours, in five lines
- You get 60 nights to sleep on the pillow. Send it back inside 60 nights, even slept on, and you get a full refund once it reaches us, with a prepaid return label and no restocking fee. Rawganique's product pages say: "all pillows, comfortables, mattresses and futons sold by Rawganique are not returnable."
- Every pillow we make has a zipper on the short end and arrives full, with more fill than most people keep, so you set the height at home. On the four Rawganique pillows on this page the zipper is an $8 option, read October 29, 2026, and without it the pillow is spot-clean only, per their pages.
- The finished Organic Cotton Pillow is GOTS Certified Organic under license GOTS-10229 from Oregon Tilth, the cotton inside and the cover together, and we will send you the certificate. Rawganique's cotton pillow page names no certifier, and their site had no certifications page when we read it.
- We sell a refill bag for every fill, so a settled pillow goes back to its height instead of being thrown away. Rawganique sells a refill for kapok only; its cotton page says to buy extra batting, and no batting is sold on their site.
- Our hulls are pre-polished and air-jet cleaned by a patented process, then UV sterilized with no chemicals, for up to 68% less crunch than standard hulls, because ours are pre-polished. Rawganique's buckwheat page does not publish how its hulls are cleaned.
- No height can be calculated for you. A 2021 review in Healthcare looked for the right pillow height and found no optimum for back or side sleeping, and no link between the height that works and the measurements of a sleeper's head or neck. Every pillow we make opens at the zipper, and we sell a refill bag for every fill.

For most buyers, Circadian's Organic Cotton Pillow is the better pick: long-staple organic cotton grown in Texas, certified organic inside and out, a zipper on the short end as standard, four sizes and 60 nights to decide, with a full refund even slept on. Rawganique costs less at Standard and sells its cotton and kapok pillows in three fill weights chosen before it ships, so if price or a fill weight set before delivery is what decides it for you, that is where Rawganique differs from us. Rawganique's pillows are not returnable, and on the four pillows compared here the zipper is an $8 option. Every Circadian pillow comes with 60 nights to sleep on it. Return it inside those 60 nights, even slept on, and the refund is in full once it reaches us, with a prepaid return label and no restocking fee. Can you return a Rawganique pillow?
No. Their product pages and refund policy say all pillows are not returnable, and their returns page lists pillows among the bedding items that are absolutely not returnable. On items they do take back, within 30 days, there is a 5% restocking fee and no prepaid return label. Rawganique sells a $5 pillow sample, 2 by 4 inches, in your choice of fill, read October 29, 2026. By contrast, every Circadian pillow gives you 60 nights to sleep on it. Send it back within that time, even slept on, and you get a full refund once it reaches us, with a prepaid return label and no restocking fee.
Is Rawganique certified organic?
Not by any certifier named on the four pillow pages we read. Their site header reads certified organic clothing, their About page says most of their fibers and their sewing workshop are certified organic, and their buckwheat and wool pillow page says all materials are certified organic, with no certifier or number. Their site had no certifications page when we read it, and one of their wool pillow pages, not compared here, names Woolmark for its wool batting. Our finished Organic Cotton Pillow, the cotton inside and the cover together, is GOTS Certified Organic, license GOTS-10229 from Oregon Tilth, and we will send you the certificate.
Does the Rawganique pillow come with a zipper?
Only as an option: $8 more at every size of the four pillows on this page, and $8.95 on the buckwheat and wool Travel, read October 29, 2026. Without it the pillow is spot-clean only, in their words, and their buckwheat page recommends the zippered version for the firmest pillows. Every Circadian pillow has a zipper on the short end and arrives full, with more fill than most people keep, so you take fill out until the height fits how you sleep.

Their page calls it a vegan organic 100% wild kapok bed pillow, filled with wild kapok sanitized and cleaned without chemicals, in an organic cotton sateen cover, and names no certifier. Our Wild-Harvested Kapok Pillow is filled with kapok from Ceiba pentandra seed pods in Java, Indonesia, never bleached or chemically treated, in an organic cotton cover. The kapok is wild-harvested, so we do not call it organic. At Standard, theirs is $64 in the soft fill without a zipper and ours is $119, as of October 2026.
Where are Rawganique pillows made?
The four pillows compared here are made in the USA, per their pages: the cotton, kapok, and buckwheat and wool pages say handmade, and the buckwheat page says made in USA. Their SPRINGFIELD wool pillow, not compared here, is handmade in their European workshop, in their words. The four are made to order in 7 to 10 days, or 10 to 14 days for the kapok pillow. Rawganique is a US company based in Washington state, per their About page, and the cotton in its buckwheat and cotton pillow casings is US-grown or imported. Every Circadian pillow is made to order by hand in a New Jersey workshop that has been making pillows since 1981.
Does Rawganique sell refills?
For kapok only, a 1 lb bag at $14.95, read October 29, 2026. Their cotton page says to buy extra batting and no batting is sold, and no loose buckwheat hulls or wool are sold on their site. We sell a refill bag for every one of our six fills, so when a pillow settles, a refill brings it back to its height instead of throwing it away.
