The Circadian Tree-Tapped Latex Pillow is slow-pour Dunlop and nothing else, inside an organic cotton cover, filled and sewn by hand in New Jersey, with a full-length zipper, a refill sold and 60 nights to sleep on it with the label on us. Why ours, in five lines
- Latex and nothing else in the bag. Theirs is 80 percent latex and 20 percent polyester fiber by the registry entry Coop filed, a split their site does not print, and their own top-voted low review says it is like only half latex.

I've owned three latex pillows over the years and this is the first one I'd buy again. It's supportive. It runs cool. Being able to pull pieces out to lower the loft is the kind of thing I didn't know mattered until I had it.

Is the Coop latex pillow natural latex?
It is a blend. Their page calls the fill cross-cut latex foam and polyester microfiber, and the registry entry Coop filed with UL SPOT puts it at 80 percent latex and 20 percent polyester fiber; their site prints no percentage, and their top-voted low review says it is like only half latex. Ours is slow-pour Dunlop latex and nothing else, tapped from rubber trees, in an organic cotton cover.
Is the Coop Original a natural pillow?
No. Their page describes cross-cut memory foam and microfiber, and their FAQ calls the foam viscoelastic polyurethane; the Amazon specification puts it at 76 percent foam and 24 percent polyester fiber. Every Circadian pillow is a natural fill, and the one closest to the Original's springy, adjustable feel is our Tree-Tapped Latex Pillow.
Does the Coop latex pillow smell?
Reviews on their page and on Amazon describe a smell out of the box, one like corn, one strong enough to make the buyer feel ill; Coop's FAQ compares its memory foam smell to a new car and suggests a low dryer cycle. Ours is slow-pour Dunlop, tapped from the tree and poured with nothing blended in and nothing added to it.
Where are Coop pillows made?
Their FAQ says the pillows are manufactured using globally sourced materials and names no country; the UL SPOT registry entries Coop filed for the latex, Original and Eden pillows list the manufacturing location as China. Every Circadian pillow is filled and sewn by hand in New Jersey.
Does the Coop latex pillow come with enough fill?
Their box includes an extra half pound, and reviews on their page and on Amazon say the pillow still arrived lacking and needed the whole bag or a second $25 bag to reach the height they wanted. Ours arrives about a third fuller than most people keep, so the only adjustment is downward, and a refill bag is sold for the day it settles.
Is the Coop pillow certified?
The latex pillow's certifications tab lists GREENGUARD Gold, an emissions certificate, with no number printed; neither an organic claim nor OEKO-TEX nor CertiPUR-US appears on the latex pillow. Ours carries an organic cotton cover and FSC certified rubber-tree sourcing, and we make no organic claim on the latex.
Does Coop publish where its latex comes from?
No. Their page says the latex is made from the sap of responsibly harvested and sustainably replanted rubber trees, and names no country. Ours is tapped from rubber trees in Sri Lanka and poured slowly so the density is even from top to bottom, with FSC certified rubber-tree sourcing.
Can the Coop pillow go in the washing machine?
The removable cover can, in cold water; their care page says the inner latex pillow is spot clean only. Our organic cotton cover unzips and washes in cold water too, and the latex inside stays out of the machine and airs instead.
Which Circadian pillow is closest to the Coop latex pillow?
The Circadian Tree-Tapped Latex Pillow. Same springy, adjustable idea, with slow-pour Dunlop on its own instead of a latex and polyester blend, an organic cotton cover, a refill sold, and a Standard size they do not make. If the Coop Original's softness was the draw, the Wild-Harvested Kapok Pillow is the natural fill closest to that feel.
Coop latex or Circadian latex for neck pain?
Latex in pieces pushes back rather than sinking, which holds your neck in line, and both pillows adjust. Ours is one material, so it moves evenly when you take some out, and it arrives full so you set the height once; several of their buyers wrote that the blend flattened overnight or worsened their neck pain even after the extra bag went in.
