Six fills, one zipperBirch wraps its shredded latex in a layer of wool, under a 100% organic cotton cover. It calls the pillow a medium feel and says it suits all sleep positions.
Returns are easy too: inside its 30 nights it sends a prepaid FedEx label for a full refund. Its Organic Pillow carried 788 reviews when we read it, and Birch also sells a Talalay Latex Pillow in two loft heights, 7 and 5.75 inches.
So Birch's Organic Pillow has a wool layer and a latex core certified to the Global Organic Latex Standard. Our latex pillow has neither.
Birch suits you if you are buying a Birch mattress: the pillow comes from the same maker, and Birch says its Natural and Luxe Natural mattresses and its Organic Pillow all use natural latex.

I bought this after my doc reminded me that memory foam, as comfortable as it is, may do some offgassing, and that’s not something I want going into my breath holes. The natural latex, with all its certifications, seems a much better option.

Not that their page says. It describes a shredded latex core wrapped in wool inside a sewn cover, with no zipper or fill removal, and Todd P., a three-star buyer, wrote that the pillow is very full and that Birch did not include a zipper for fill removal. Every Circadian pillow opens at a zipper on the short end and arrives full, with more fill than most people keep, so you take fill out to set the height and put it back whenever you change your mind.
Every Circadian pillow arrives full. On night one, open the zipper on the short end and take fill out until your ear sits over your shoulder with your head level rather than tipped. Sleep three nights at that height, then adjust again if you need to. Give it a few weeks before you judge the pillow itself. The Birch Organic Pillow has no zipper, so its fill cannot be taken out.
Two of their one-star buyers wrote that they returned it over a chemical smell. Our latex is all rubber-tree sap, with no petroleum-based rubber (SBR) mixed in, and the fill carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1, tested for over 1,000 harmful substances. It is $111.25 list for a Standard, as of October 2026, and rated 4.0 from 94 reviews. Our latex is shredded, so you set the height, and the cover is organic cotton.

A one-star buyer, Zab, wrote that it had no support left after a year of use, and a King buyer found it extremely flat. Their warranty excludes normal softening and settling.
