Size

The sheet you spend the night against, in 300 thread count organic cotton sateen.

The pocket is 15 inches, which clears a deep mattress or a standard one with a topper on it. Most fitted sheets are cut for a bare mattress and then fight you at the corners the moment you add anything on top.

Sateen is a four-over-one float, so four of every five threads sit on the surface rather than being tied down into the weave. That is where the low sheen and the cool slide come from, and because it is structural rather than a finish, it survives washing. The count is 300, and what you feel is the fiber and the weave rather than the number. The cotton is long-staple, so the yarn spins fine and even without the short ends that make cheaper cotton pill.

The color is the cotton's own. No bleaching and no optical brighteners, so it reads as a warm natural off-white rather than the blue-white of most bedding.

Cut and sewn in New Jersey. This sheet is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certified Organic under license GOTS-10229, issued by Oregon Tilth. Ask me for the certificate and I will send it.

What you're not sleeping on

The list most bedding makers hope you never read. None of it is in a Circadian sheet.

Checked by someone else.

What's not in the sheet.

The sheet you lie on is the largest piece of fabric that touches you all night, and most of them meet your skin with chemistry rather than cloth, which means chlorine bleaching, a formaldehyde resin so they press flat, optical brighteners to fake the white back, and a softener that survives a few washes and then leaves. This sheet is GOTS Certified Organic, which is the standard that governs every wet-processing step, so none of that happened to it. The smoothness is the long-staple fiber and the sateen weave, which is why it lasts and why it gets better rather than thinner. Undyed, in the cotton's own color. Cut and sewn in a GOTS certified workshop in New Jersey, audited on site every year. What is against you all night is cotton, and nothing that was put on it.

License GOTS-10229, issued by Oregon Tilth, held against the Global Organic Textile Standard and renewed on an on-site audit every year.

Common questions

What is the Circadian Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet?

The Circadian Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet is the sheet you lie on, in 300 thread count organic cotton sateen with a 15 inch pocket. Most fitted sheets are cut for a bare mattress and fight you at the corners the moment you add a topper. This one clears a deep mattress, or a standard one with a topper. It is GOTS Certified Organic under license GOTS-10229, issued by Oregon Tilth, and it is cut and sewn to order in New Jersey.

What sizes does the Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet come in, and will it fit a deep mattress?

The Circadian Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet comes in Twin, Full, Queen and King, cut to fit a standard mattress in each of those sizes, and every one has a 15 inch pocket. A 15 inch pocket clears most deep mattresses, and a standard mattress with a topper on it. Measure your mattress depth with the topper on before ordering if you are close to 15 inches.

How do I wash the Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or line dry. Fold it warm. Cotton sets its creases as it cools, so take it out of the dryer while there is still heat in it, give it one snap, and fold it then. Skip fabric softener, because the sateen weave softens on its own with each wash. The Circadian Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet is long-staple cotton, so it resists pilling, and the softness comes from the weave rather than a finish, so it keeps softening instead of going rough.

Can I return the Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet?

Yes. The Circadian Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet can be returned within 60 days of delivery. Email jacob@circadianrest.com with your order number and we send a prepaid return label. There is no restocking fee, and the refund goes back to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days of the sheet reaching the New Jersey workshop. The 60-night sleep trial is written for the pillows and duvets, so if the sheet has been slept on, email first and we will tell you where you stand.

How long does the Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet take to ship?

The Circadian Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet is cut and sewn to order in New Jersey. Bedding orders leave the workshop in 4 to 7 business days, and the carrier adds 2 to 5 business days depending on how far you live from New Jersey. Checkout shows the arrival window for your address before you pay, and shipping is free.

What goes with the Organic Cotton Fitted Sheet?

The Circadian Organic Cotton Flat Sheet and Organic Cotton Pillowcases are the same 300 thread count sateen in the same natural color, and the three together are what the Organic Cotton Sheet Set contains. Buying the set is the cheaper route if you need all three. The Organic Cotton Duvet Cover finishes the bed over either Circadian duvet.
