Circadian in Natalie's sustainable pillows guide.

For Sustainably Chic readers

Three pillows, and the certificate behind each one.

Two carry Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) end-to-end. The latex carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 at Class 1 (infant skin contact), plus FSC certification on the rubber-tree source.

The full lineup

Six natural fills, one workshop.

Every pillow shares the same organic cotton cover and comes out of our New Jersey workshop, where the same hands have been making natural bedding since 1981.

A note from Circadian

Why we built a partnership with Sustainably Chic.

Natalie asks brands for actual certification documentation instead of taking the label copy at face value. That standard is the one we wrote the brand around. Most pillows sold as organic only certify the outer fabric, while the fill inside is conventional cotton, polyester batting, or treated foam.

Two of our six fills carry Global Organic Textile Standard end-to-end under license GOTS-10229: the organic cotton and the organic wool. The slow-pour Dunlop latex pillow holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 at Class 1 plus FSC at the rubber-tree source. We sell six natural fills under one brand so you can compare them side by side.

One pillow, set to your height over a few nights.

Every Circadian pillow arrives full, about 30 percent more than most people keep. The side zipper opens to the fill so you can remove material a handful at a time and reach the height your spine wants. If you take out too much, the fill goes back in.

What readers ask first

How is the GOTS certification different from the rest of the market?

Most pillows marketed as organic certify only the outer cover. The cotton and wool pillows are GOTS Certified Organic as finished pillows under licence GOTS-10229. The licence is re-audited on site every year.

What does OEKO-TEX Class 1 mean for the latex pillow?

Class 1 is the strictest tier (infant skin contact). The finished latex is tested for over a hundred harmful substances including formaldehyde, phthalates, PFAS, heavy metals, and pesticide residue. The rubber-tree source is separately certified by FSC.

How does the 60-night trial work?

Sleep on the pillow for up to 60 nights. If it doesn't fit, return for a full refund.

How long until the pillow arrives?
