Six natural fills, hand-sewn in one New Jersey workshop since 1981.

Two carry Global Organic Textile Standard end-to-end. The slow-pour Dunlop latex holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 at Class 1. The other three sit outside textile certification by definition, and we say so. You can find the buckwheat sample in The Good Trade's nontoxic and organic pillows guide.

For Good Trade readers

Three pillows answer the bulk of what readers ask.

The buckwheat is the one sampled in the guide. Cotton holds its shape for years. Kapok runs from the seed pod to your pillow without a chemical step.

The full lineup

Six natural fills, one workshop.

Every pillow shares the same organic cotton cover and the same GOTS-certified New Jersey workshop operating since 1981.

A note from Circadian

Why we built a partnership with The Good Trade.

The Good Trade's nontoxic and organic pillows guide catches the distinction most coverage misses: certified-on-the-cover versus certified-end-to-end. A lot of pillows sold as organic only certify the outer fabric, while the fill inside is conventional cotton, polyester batting, or treated foam. That's the line we wrote Circadian around.

Two of our six fills carry Global Organic Textile Standard end-to-end under license GOTS-10229: the organic cotton and the organic wool. Two more sit outside textile certification by definition (buckwheat hulls and wild-harvested kapok), and we say so. The slow-pour Dunlop latex pillow holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 at Class 1, the infant-skin-contact tier.

One pillow, dialed in over a few nights.

Every Circadian pillow ships overstuffed by about 30 percent. The side zipper opens to the fill so you can remove material a handful at a time and reach the loft your spine wants. If you take out too much, the fill goes back in.

What readers ask first

How is this different from other organic or nontoxic pillows?

Every Circadian pillow is handmade in a single New Jersey facility that has been producing certified natural bedding since 1981. The organic cotton and organic wool pillows carry Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification end-to-end (fill, cover, thread, and dye process) under license number GOTS-10229. The full lineup ships free of flame retardants, dyes, perfumes, pesticides, and VOC-emitting materials.

How does the 60-night trial work?

Sleep on the pillow for up to 60 nights. If it doesn't fit, return for a full refund. We cover shipping both ways. Most fill calibration happens in the first two weeks, so 60 nights leaves room to dial in loft and decide whether the fill type is right for you.

Why isn't every fill labeled organic?

Buckwheat hulls fall outside textile-grade organic scope industry-wide. Kapok is wild-harvested rather than farmed, so the term doesn't technically apply. The fills are nontoxic and chemical-free; we don't claim organic where the certification framework doesn't reach.

Can I verify the GOTS certification?

Yes. Search license number GOTS-10229 at global-standard.org, or look up our workshop's GOTS license in the public GOTS database. Our partner workshop in New Jersey handcrafts every Circadian pillow.

How long until the pillow arrives?

Most orders ship from New Jersey within one business day and arrive in 4 to 7 days via free ground shipping.
